Getting Started
Connect VergeHR to Claude, ChatGPT or another AI app, and ask in your own words. It answers from your real leave, schedule and goals, and it sees only what you can see.
Your HR, in a conversation. Everything comes from VergeHR, as you would see it in the app.
An AI app works as you, and never sees more than you can see in VergeHR.
Anyone with a VergeHR login whose role has Connect My AI Apps, once an administrator has switched AI apps on. Administrators have it by default. Employees don't until it's granted, because HR data is sensitive.
Read what you can read in VergeHR: your own record, leave, attendance, schedule, goals, reviews, feedback, training, claims and tickets, policies and announcements, and what your role reaches of colleagues. If you allow it, it can also see pay figures and identity numbers your role already shows, and make a few changes for you: request leave, give feedback, check in on a goal, acknowledge a policy, raise a ticket, and decide leave and attendance requests waiting on you.
It can't delete anything, change settings or permissions, create employees, run payroll, approve anything to do with money, terminations or promotions, send email of its own, or do anything in bulk. Candidate resumes and fit scores aren't available to it.
The AI app you connect receives what it reads from VergeHR, to answer you. That provider's own privacy terms apply to it. VergeHR never sends your data to an AI app you haven't connected.
In VergeHR, open Settings → Profile → AI Apps and choose Disconnect. An administrator can disconnect anyone's app in Settings → System Settings → AI Apps, or switch AI apps off to end every connection at once. Changing your password also disconnects every app.
The Model Context Protocol, an open standard that lets AI apps connect to services like VergeHR. Claude, ChatGPT and many other apps support it. Developer Reference
