Know Where Every
People Cost Is Going

Plan headcount and people costs for the year, see them against what's really spent, and know where you'll land before year end.

AI explains the biggest variances in plain words.

Your People Budget, Out of the Spreadsheet

Headcount comes from your employee records and paid expense claims count by themselves — so the actuals keep up without anyone copying numbers across.

Why Are We Over?

Engineering is $60K over plan to date. Most of it is Training: a cloud certification course in August cost $40K against $15K planned. Salaries are on plan, and headcount is 2 below plan, so the forecast stays within 2% of budget.

Every Number in One View

Each budget shows planned, actual, variance and the year-end forecast, plus spending through the year and the open positions.

A Draft Until It's Approved

Work on the budget as long as you need. Approving it locks the plan; reopen it when the plan really changes.

Departments or the Whole Organization

Budget each department for a fiscal year, or the whole organization. The organization budget covers everyone outside the department budgets.

Actuals That Keep Up

Joiners and leavers update the headcount; paid expense claims count under Travel & Expenses; type or import the rest.

Questions & Answers

Where do the actuals come from?

Headcount from your employee records, paid expense claims under Travel & Expenses, and the amounts you type in or import from a CSV file.

How do department budgets and the organization budget fit together?

When a department has its own budget, the whole-organization budget covers only the people outside those departments — nobody is counted twice.

How is the forecast worked out?

From the run rate: what's been spent so far this fiscal year, carried forward to year end, set against the plan.

Who can see HR budgets?

Administrators, and anyone you give budget access to with Roles & Permissions.
